Configure wget to get through proxy ? (CentOS)

  1. Log in as root.
  2. Edit /etc/wgetrc
  3. Uncomment http_proxy = http://x.x.x.x:xx/
  4. Uncomment ftp_proxy = http://x.x.x.x:xx/
  5. Uncomment use_proxy = on
  6. Uncomment wait = 15
