Showing Super Hidden Files In Windows Vista Or In XP

Some important files for Windows Vista @ XP are hidden by default. This is to prevent those file from being touched or accidentally deleted, these files are super hidden files.

But if you curious enough to see all the super hidden files, here are some tips on how to make the super hidden files visible.

Note:Before you do this, please make sure that you know what you’re doing. Because we gonna play some games with Windows registry.

1. Click on the Start -> Run
2. Type “regedit” (without quotes) and press Enter
3. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
4. Change SuperHidden key value to 1

Note: If you have a PC shared with your friends ; your private files, videos and images are always at risk of getting seen by them. An easy way to protect your file from others is to make them “super hidden”. Super hidden files/ folders become system files and changing the super hidden property of these files and folders is
normally not possible.

Note: Super hidden files/ folders cannot be viewed even if the “view hidden files and folders” setting is ticked.
